Went to the Thorn Banquet tonight. It went swimmingly.
Of course, there was a little mix-up with the place for the banquet thanks to the original choice being closed for maintenance this weekend.

Weekend update: I’m brilliant and dumb all in the same time.
I didn’t get up when I was supposed to in order to buy doughnuts and milk for the Thorn staffers going to the Hoosier State Press Association’s Newsroom Seminar on Saturday. Twas annoying to be up late and having to take a cold/cool [...]

And it begins.
Today marks the first day that “real” work shall begin on the Rose Thorn’s 2004-2005 publication year. We’ve got a couple of things to discuss, but we shouldn’t be there too long and it shouldn’t be too bad.
We’ll get some things discussed and decided on…hopefully we’ll have some fun at Lissa’sexpense. [...]

Ok, I know the Rose Thorn doesn’t have it explicitly in the paper each week, but we don’t run anonymous letters. Just isn’t going to happen.
Even if your letter is well written and appears to be well thought out…not gonna get printed until you sign it…perhaps we will have to print two inches of [...]

Stupid, stupid, stupid Mailbox limits. I’m really rather unhappy right now. The paper’s publisher’s e-mail box is beyond its quota. Very, very annoying.
Thus I had to upload the pdfs to my school webspace and call them to leave an address for them to surf to. Hopefully they’ll be able to pull [...]

I finally finished my paper and have gotten most everything packed, so I’ll be on my way home for Spring break soon. I’ll be back to school on April 11, so don’t expect too many posts between now and then.
