On this date (Sept. 21) 1937 J.R.R Tolkein entered the world of fantasy by publishing The Hobbit.
Yay for today. I kinda wish I had paid more attention and had setup a party to coincide with the 70th birthday of the Hobbit’s publishing. Oh,well. I’ll just have to be sure to remember to have a party in 30 years for the centennial…someone remind me when it gets a little closer. 
I’m still sick, but I don’t really feel bad. Just coughing up my lungs from time to time.
