Hey! It’s 5:30 in the AM and I feel like a million bucks.
I went to the sleep center this evening and completed my sleep apnea adjustment. My CPAP (Constant Positive Air Pressure) machine is now set so that I can breathe through the night and actually sleep. At the 5 hour mark this morning I woke up and was alert. I had to attempt to sleep for another hour in order to complete the test. Anyway, 5 hours of sleep and I feel awake and alert. I’m even going to make breakfast, do the dishes, and other various cleaning things around here before I go to work.
I hope that this is indicitive to how I’ll start feeling from now on…it will be so awesome to actually be productive at home and be able to stay awake while doing things that aren’t physically active.
Wow. It’s just a wonderful feeling. I imagine it’ll take me a little while to get accustomed to wearing the head gear all night long. My front couple of teeth and the area around my nose are all a little tender this morning from having the mask seal around it all night. I’m going to have to start wearing my retainer every night or at least until I get used to the breathing mask.
Anyway, off to breakfast. More updates to come as I’m actually able to concentrate!

Yeah! And now maybe the neighbors will be able to sleep, too, because the snoring will stop.
You have a $2,500 smile. You better keep that retainer in before your teeth get knocked out of whack!

Oh my goodness! You ARE old!!! But in all honesty, I have sleep troubles, too.
I saw an ad the other day for this nifty CPAP machine. I’d never heard of them before and I couldn’t understand why they advertised something that hooked into your nose and over your head while you slept as comfortable. Now I know someone that uses them! Wow! You’re amazing!
