Luke says Moo!

My life and the world as I see it. It’ll mostly be a place for me to gripe and friends to keep up with me.

I once greeted a monkey in Latin. It immediately swung down from the branches and gave me a severe tongue lashing as to why you should never attempt to talk to a monkey in Latin. To this day I fear greeting people while speaking in Latin. Whatever shall I do?

Ok, so it struck me all of a sudden while at work to write that on Pookie’s Facebook wall. A little odd, but somehow suddenly and totally fitting. I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out if you think about it long enough. Then again prolonged exposure could cause serious mental issues.

Anyway, went home for the Thanksgiving weekend. Much food was ate. Much family time was had. A short Christmas tree was gathered (9ish feet tall) and decorated. Playing of the XBox 360 ensued and Perfect Dark whooped on Josh and I as we spent only 7 or 8 tries to defeat a single mission…and then I had to drive up to Indy for bed and work the next day (today to be exact).

Other than that no news here except that it was really rather warm today when I came in to work my Google homepage says it’s 61 deg. F and that’s just a little odd. Of course, the weather report this morning says that the temp. should fall all week until Friday and the high should be about 31 deg. F and possibilities of snow. Stupid snow. And they’re pretty sure we’ll switch into full on winter mode after Friday so it’ll be wintery cold from then until March. I guess we’ll see what happens.

Oh, and Microsoft has some nifty things up for free. - They’re nifty if you want to program for Microsoft SQL server, C#, J#, Visual C++, and something or the other else. Anyway, it’s free to download for a year and it looks like some nifty tools. As soon as I get a new desktop (I’m being lazy/apprehensive about getting one right now) I think I’m going to attempt to make a small app to help Mom keep track of addresses and things for relatives/friends so she can use something other than a Word document to hold all of that information.

And I’ve got pictures to upload and I think I may attempt to either install Coppermine or use Flikr depending on my mood tomorrow or tonight after my committee meeting.

BTW Does anyone have any experience working with Drupal?
