Bugs Bunny is the man. I wish I were as cool as he is.
Anyway, I’ve got to spend time this week finding a way to get in and work on cleaning up and setting up the Rose Thorn office. Tomorrow the guys working for the Union building will start moving all of our stuff back in…then we ( a lot o that is me) get to put the office back together and pull all of our stuff back out. Damn it all, if I don’t have several pages of the Freshman Orientation Issue to get done too.
We print on next Wednesday, so I have to be finished by Tuesday…this includes making sure everyone else gets me what I need. I pray that everything gets done…otherwise we’re gonna look really, really bad.
Of course, we can’t afford to look bad because then we won’t get any new people to work for the paper, and then there won’t be a newspaper any more. That’d really piss me off if the paper went under while I was working on it. That’s a lot of hard work (and resume building) blown away.
I really think the paper makes a difference on campus.
Now if only there were a few more people willing to put some time in…like say some sophomores or freshman?
That’d be nice ’cause then good ‘ole Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will have a sweet newspaper..even if engineers (and a couple of scientists) write the thing.
(Excuse the weirdness of this post as it’s getting late and I’m running on a slight lack of sleep for the week.)
