This is my last departure from Rose-Hulman as an undergraduate. The next time I leave here I will have officially completed my degree and hold a BS in Computer Engineering.
It’s kinda sad and it’s kinda happy. It’s really weird to think that only 4 years ago this journey began and now this phase of my life has come to an end.
I’ve learned a great deal while serving my time at Rose that has little to do with programming, electrical circuits, and engineering. My most important skills came from the people around me. The friends I made and lost. The people I hop in to see on occasion and the people I avoid at anything short of vaporizing myself. It’s been an interesing game here and now that I’ve learned the ropes and thought I was comfortable in my place here…well, it’s time to move on.
Same thing happened in high school…spend your four years carving out a spot in my world and then suddenly when things just start to get comfortable it’s time to move on. Hopefully I’ll be able to settle in to adult life a little bit better and the changes won’t be so abrupt or requiring this much pomp and circumstance. 
I’ve got a couple of bites at positions so let’s hope they’re answering their phones on Monday so I can get some buisness taken care of before I have to return for graduation. I’m not sure which job I want…they both have so very different positive and negative aspects. (On top of that neither has officially given me an offer…) But it may take me a little while to determine what would be best for me and which situation I would be able to completely fulfil. So we’ll see where things go from here.

Upon the level, by the plumb, and by the square do I leave here as this stage of life closes and a new one begins.
