Orson Scott Card has probably the best way to remember a man who did a good job and perhaps helped the world.
My religious background is different from Card’s and the Pope’s but I can agree with Card when he says, “That I felt better and safer about the world because he was in it, and I feel that we are just a little worse off, in a little more danger, because he’s gone. ” Why exactly? I’m not sure, but it sounds right.

Oh, and it’s interesting how E. Sternberg keeps writing posts that rather contradict OSC, although he doesn’t seem to read OSC. The comments on Sternberg’s post are enlightening as well, and not all in the same vein.
