Wheeeeee! There are 46 days until graduation! There is a light at the end of the tunnel…too bad it’s shadowed by the fear of the whold job monster.
There’s a small career fair on campus Wednesday, so I’m going to get suited up and pass the resume around and schmooze with the recruiters in hopes of getting somebody’s attention. Cross your fingers for me and wish me luck (or as Silvia said anything that’ll grease the occupation finding wheels).
What I really want is an e-mail or call from Exacttarget.com saying they want another interview, or something that indicates further interest because working in Indy sounds like a good thing right now. I know I said I really wanted the job at Ontario Systems in Muncie, but I think that was fear…this time I think I’d be happy at this place and maybe be able to get myself a leg up on the competition as I’d have experience in the bigger picture of software design as I would be assuring that it does what’s promised. Which would hopfully make me marketable and experienced…experience is good.
