I’m 1/5 the way through my last quarter at Rose. It’s an interesting feeling. Namely, I’m behind in a couple of things that need to be taken care of.
Oh, well. It’ll get caught up in a day or two.
I wrote a paper about “The Great Gatsby” this afternoon. It wasn’t all that great, but it got done. I had wanted to write more, but unfortunately I was finding it difficult to find quotes and things that made my point. So instead of writing a 3 page paper like I had inteded I ended up with a 1 page paper. Which is fine, it just means I have to find something to write about in the following book or two to get to three pages.
And now it’s off to read “As I Lay Dieing” which is by Falkner. It’s going to be a long night as I attempt to make it through that.
