Luke says Moo!

My life and the world as I see it. It’ll mostly be a place for me to gripe and friends to keep up with me.

Whoo boy what fun!

Headed up to North Vernon (Indiana) today to work with Phil D.

It’s been fun…minus the hating of Microsoft and hating of the DECtalk people.

Oh, and the greatness of Maps.google.com has been approved. Unfortunately, the ability of certain small towns to name their roads has a negative score and I don’t like that town.

I got lost in Hayden (sp?) for a little while. It turns out it was just easier to go ahead and follow the state highway to North Vernon, but no one knew where the road that I wanted is located. Sigh…I spent nearly 45 minutes driving around trying to find the place.

Then Phil D. and I spent about an hour and a half or so and finally have the pre-compiled test program working on our PDA, so that’s good. What’s not good is that we can’t compile the provided code or any of their necessary include files. Poo on that. So we’re going to see about getting an MSDNAA key to use the MSoft Embeded compilers.

Anyway, now if only Msoft gave us the stuff we really needed to get this done I’d be really happy.
