I’m in a better mood this evening. Not a great mood; I’m just not as depressed.
Props to Michael, Lissa’s friend, for the poem. (I still don’t know where props came from; just that it’s a good thing to get.)
Anyway, writing a story for the newspaper this week with Bob S. So far we have little to no facts, but a couple of ideas. So we’ll see how this turns out…and of course this one could get us in more trouble than the last one I wrote. Because now we’re actually going to be hitting some people close to home. Especially since there was a faculty meeting which we weren’t privy to until someone tipped us off that it was happening.
Linkage:
President George W. Bush’s Second Inaguration Speach (I haven’t read it completely yet…too much other to do.)
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels’s State of the State Speach 2005 (Haven’t gotten all the way through that one yet, ether.)
The Governator…I mean, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s State of the State Address (Which I did read all of several weeks ago.)
And Paul Graham’s What You’ll Wish You’d Known a high school talk…except the school he was invited to ended up vetoing the plan. This is a good read…hat tip to Nick for the link.
Off to do databases homework and stuff.

Props = proper respect, proper dues (similar to definition on urban dictionary [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=props&r=f] I guess)
