Old joke I know but here goes….
A man visits his doctor for a thorough check-up. After all the tests the doctor reports that he is doing “fairly well” for his age. A little concerned about the comment, the guy can’t resist asking, “Do you think I’ll live to be 80?”
Doctor: “Well, do you smoke tobacco or drink beer or wine?”
Man: “Oh no, I’ve never done either.”
Doctor: “Do you eat steaks and barbecued ribs?”
Man: “No, I heard that red meat is bad for you.”
Doctor: “Do you spend a lot of time in the sun like playing golf, sailing, cycling, rock climbing?”
Man: “No I don’t”
Doctor: “Do you gamble or drive fast cars?”
Man: “No, I’ve never done any of those things.”
Doctor: “Then why the hell do you care if you’ll live to be 80?”
It’s totally hilarious if you ask me.
