Yay, and sigh. I had several positive reactions from people…until they asked for my GPA which is currectly at 2.54. So poo on people looking at just GPA.
I even had one lady say something along the lines of, “Wow, you’ve had some really interesting experience, and look like you’d fit well here; what’s your GPA?” and then continued to tell me they don’t hire anyone with less than a 3.0. So fie on them…fie I say.
Oh, well. Hopefully, the Midget will be able to get DigitalNet to give me an interview tomorrow when he was supposed to interview (he’s canceling and suggesting they look at me) because their job pool looks interesting…and I could actually do what they’re looking for which is a plus. So, we’ll see if that turns up with anything.
From there we turn to the filling in stupid online resume things…I’m so tired of these things and I’ve only filled out one. They want so very much specific information, and I’m like, “I just want an entry level job!! or maybe something engeneering technical support job would be nice or maybe some embedded systems and digital design sort of deal…” See, I need these things to be a little less exacting.
Oh, well. Wish me luck with the online system…hopefully someone will want to hire me (sooner is preferable to later).
