Michael Moore Hates America is a documentary about making a documentary and how someone, Michael Moore in particular, doing so can manipulate the facts to give whatever impression they wish to impart to the viewer. Which is how most films are supposed to be, but normally people don’t call them documentaries which normally connotates an impartial, non-partisan view of the content.
Moore however seems to only use his documentaries as political propaganda. Hopefully, this movie will make some headway in informing the general public that the facts, as presented by some, are not always truthful.
Go get ‘em Michael Wilson!

I saw the movie last night, and it was not really any marvel of film making. I thought that it was very plain in its manipulative capacity, although many people in the theater were sold completely. The scenes of actual footage he presented were not presented with dates or citation, so the truth value was not always clear. There were parts that were extremely moving and that raised issues that deserve a lot more attention, but the film, overall, was indeed propaganda.

I saw this doc on Wed night and all I can say about it is this. As Americans we will believe anything that lets us sleep better at night. The truth is never going to come to us, their are too many fliters for it. Even if we did get a glimper of the truth, we would just mix it up with lies and then we are back to the same thing. Michael Moore may just be a Sophist. As long as people believe his opinion or his facts then they must be true.
