Geek Eye for the Nerd Guy

(Title stolen from Lockergnome.com)

Ok, I was reading Geek Eye for the Nerd Guy in Lockergnome’s Windows Fanatic from March 25.

Now this particular article by Brandon Watts is interesting, but annoying. This entire article is going on about how your computer looks. Yes, Apple makes a pretty desktop, so what?

Why do you need a pretty desktop? They go on the floor, or someplace out of the way so that you have space enough to get to the Cd-drives. A gray box is a good thing. You can beat the hell out of it and not give it another thought. Not only that, but last I checked aren’t you supposed to be using the computer and not looking at it?

More to come later…they’re actually making me work.

  1. Brandon Watts Says:

That article was simply a commentary on how Apple is making computing more modern. I’m using a gray box right now, and I love this computer. Apple does not only show great design on the desktop, but in product design as well. The physical design of a product can greatly enhance and enrich your interaction with it.

    There’s always room for innovation…

Innovate this! Hehe, I eat apples

    One word: “entire”.
